RHYS PARKER LIGHTING DESIGN

Rhys is a seasoned lighting designer and programmer with a lifelong passion for light and the art of lighting design. This enthusiasm for the craft was ignited during Rhys's school days, where he eagerly experimented with the limited equipment available, setting the stage for a journey in the world of technical theatre.

In 2014, Rhys made his professional debut in the theatre industry at the Swindon Wyvern Theatre. This experience laid the groundwork for his future success, allowing him to develop a keen understanding of the technical aspects of theatre production.

Since his debut, Rhys's career has been marked by an array of roles in various esteemed venues. He has served as an in-house technician at multiple theatres, including Camberley Theatre, Salisbury Playhouse, Warwick Arts Centre, and Curve Theatre. Working in these diverse environments has provided Rhys with valuable insights into the intricacies of different performance spaces and the challenges they bring.

Rhys prides himself in his versatility in lighting design. His experience ranges from Theatre and Opera productions to Jazz and Rock concerts.
